Rwanda Rwamiko

Rwanda Rwamiko is a beautifully expressive single origin that showcases the clarity, elegance, and vibrant acidity that have made Rwandan coffees increasingly sought after in specialty coffee. Sourced from the Gicumbi District in Rwanda’s Northern Province, this coffee is produced by more than 1,200 smallholder farmers who deliver freshly harvested cherries to the Rwamiko Washing Station, where controlled processing preserves the quality of the region’s Bourbon varieties.

This lot undergoes a traditional washed process with a low-intervention approach that emphasizes the coffee’s natural character. After careful sorting and pulping, the coffee is fermented, thoroughly washed, and soaked in clean water before being dried on raised beds.

This meticulous process produces remarkable clarity in the cup, highlighting the vibrant acidity, layered sweetness, and refined balance that define Rwanda’s finest coffees.

Expect notes of ripe apricot, fragrant lemongrass, and black tea, supported by a silky body and crisp, citrus-like acidity.
