Brazil Sete Cachoeiras coffee comes from the Fazenda Sete Cachoeiras estate in the south of Minas Gerais. This estate is notable for being the first carbon-neutral certified coffee estate in the region. This coffee is semi-washed. The outer skin of the coffee cherries are first mechanically removed, and then the coffee beans are stored with their mucilage attached. Then it’s washed off before drying to reduce the acidity of the final coffee.
Sete Cachoeiras coffee is typically grown in the high-altitude regions of Brazil, where the climate and soil conditions are ideal for coffee cultivation. The coffee plants thrive in the rich, volcanic soil and benefit from the consistent rainfall and mild temperatures. These conditions help produce coffee beans with a balanced flavour profile, often characterized by notes of chocolate & nuts.
How to Brew Brazil Sete Cachoeiras
